The purpose of this study is to develop a program for clothing & textiles education towards K-SDGs for pre-service elementary teachers. To this end, a systematic pre-service teacher program was developed by analyzing the practical curriculum and clothing & textiles education field based on the goal of K-SDGs education. First, K-SDGs education includes 17 goals in five strategies: people, prosperity, planet environment, peace, and partnership. In this study, three strategies and nine goals were extracted to deal with clothing & textiles education among the goals of K-SDGs education. Second, based on the extracted criteria, the teaching content knowledge, performance, and attitude necessary for people, prosperity, and planet environment were selected, and the program was developed by focusing on clothing management and clothing design in the field of clothing & textiles education. Third, in order to guide clothing & textiles education from the perspective of national sustainable development education, it is necessary to construct a problem-based model and a practice-based model rather than a knowledge-based teaching model, and design a course-based evaluation. Sustainable development education is treated as a cross-curricular topic, and clothing & textiles education is meaningful as education that manages resources in everyday life. It is an education that requires both elementary school students and teachers, and it is expected that pre-service teachers will be able to increase the effectiveness of education through training on knowledge, curriculum, methods, and evaluation that can be taught to children at an appropriate level.
